Pella screen return spring

A quick learner from Duxbury, MA says:

We tried to take the screen door off in order to replace the screen. Couldn't get it off, because rollers wouldn't adjust. Now we have this return spring (86-021) just hanging there, because we don't know how it attaches. Can you help?

I'm sorry I was not able to find an instructional guide for you, Pella suggests if the spring located at the top of the door is not attached, the door will not close automatically. If this is the case, call the Pella Window and Door Showroom nearest you for help.
