Thanks for writing in! The sash retainer pin you are referring to is the pivot bar. It helps to connect the coil balance assembly and its pivoting shoe to the bottom of the sash. 

I believe you may have our 26-241. Take a look over the dimensions and compare them to your existing pivot bar to confirm.

In regard to the window spring you need, I'll need to see a photo of the compatible coil balance shoe, preferably removed from the window. You'll also need to check the metal coil(s) for any stamps or markings that would indicate the spring strength needed for your windows.

Thanks for the photos. The coil balance pivot shoe you have is our 15-111. Carefully compare the measurements to your existing pivot shoe to confirm that this is the right fit.

The compatible coil spring is the Series 160 Coil. Since yours are stamped with a 5.5, you'll need the S160-5. You may also need the 15-150D Coil Double Support.
