Replacement channel balance

A home owner from Greenacres, FL says:
Hello,
Can you please help me replace my window channel? I have attached pictures if the serial numbers. The metal portion of the rod is 29 inches long. I will need about 10 of them plus the rollers and the pulley cord assembly. I don't know what kind of windows I have but I would be grateful for any assistance.

Thanks for posting. I believe this might be either our S380-29 or S385-29. The only difference between these two channel balances is the depth of the bottom nylon shoe, or the measurement from heel to toe. See the illustration below for reference. Compare both with your old hardware to see what matches best. If by chance your shoe does not match either of these, let us know.

You also have to choose a stamp option, which designates the strength of the balance. Based on the old stamp of 28-B I believe you can use our stamp of 2820, which designates a balance that can support a window sash in the weight range of 12 through 16 pounds. You can always weigh the sash to confirm it falls in that range to be safe. Let us know if you have further questions.
