Replacement weatherstripping for Millard

A quick learner from Oakland, CA 94611 says:
We have aluminum double pane Millard windows. I removed a portion of the stripping in attached photos and we would like to replace with white colored plastic. The window is 35 x 46. Do you have advice about removing and replacing? I am concerned that I can do it without breaking the glass.
