Screen Sliding Door Return Spring

we have a 6' Pella door. Our spring for the screen door does not seem to be sprung, but it does not close the door anymore. Is the 86-021 the correct spring for that size door? And do you think we actually have a spring problem? Can't figure out any other way to tighten it to make the door close. Thanks, Karen

Your spring could have lost it's tension. Did you try to possibly shorten it? If not, you might need to replace it.
