Searching for Latch door sliding patented " Canada 929213 patented 1973 is imprinted on latch- note the latch locks north to south not visaversa

A quick learner says:
Imprinted on latch is " Canadian patent 919213 and Canada patented 1973.
Note latch mechanism goes north to south not reverse like you see on mortise latches

Hey Frank. Start by looking at our 82-211. Compare all the dimensions listed below to your lock, and let me know if anything differs.

Same question (do they all fail in summer)? Looks to be 82-211. Assume this part is reversible like the OP asked - latch is bottom not top as pictured.

If the latch on your mortise is on the bottom, you can just flip it over. These are also reversible and can be used on either left or right hand applications. In other words, as long as your dimensions and general design match the above diagram, then I am very confident that this part will work for you.
