Searching for why bi-fold doors pop open

A quick learner says:
After replacing the Nylon bushings, pivot pins, and springs on all four doors, one pair won't stay shut and pops open. The doors close without interference.

What do I need to adjust?

Thank you,

Juan

Hello,

If the doors are squared up and open properly, one possibility is that the 21-275 bumper in the top and bottom tracks between the doors could be too long. You could try gradually cutting the bumpers down by 1/4" and testing the doors until they stay closed. Thanks for posting.
