Semco Window Crank

A quick learner from Michigan says:
I have Semco windows and the crank operator appears to be the same brand. I am not sure of the gold gear mechanism. The window crank that you spin to open/close the window seems to have unscrewed itself from the unit, which now redners it uselss. Do i need to replace the entire piece, meaning, the operator, gold gears and the arm that swings open the window? I can't seem to see anything on the gold gears (not sure what that is called). but basically, on two of our windows, when you spind the crank, it comes out of the thing it twists into, pops off and does not allow for proper widnow open/close

Hello, thank you for posting,

The full operator will need to be replaced due to the spline being stripped. To further review, we will need to see a picture of the window open where we can view the arm attachments. From there we can determine the correct style for your window. Please review and let us know if you have any additional questions.

A quick learner from Michigan says:
I have attached the photo of the window in its open position- we have another window doing the same thing but opens the the opposite side. So if this works, we will need two replacements one of each side, if that makes sense.

Thank you,

Your window either uses the 39-031 and 39-032 operators or the 39-155 and 39-156. The difference between these two options is the length of the short link arm. Please review both to confirm the best match. Let me know if you have any additional questions!
