Spiral Balance lengths

A contractor from Santa Fe NM says:
Hello I am looking to add spiral balances to existing single hung windows that do not have any balances. The moveable lower sash is 29-1/2 " high and the overall window opening is 57-1/2" high. I would like to use series 500 balances. Can you advise me on the recommended length?

Thank you for reaching out to us. The Series 500 and 17-012 bracket (sold separately) may be feasible but you would need to make sure you have enough room if you haven't already.

We're happy to help determine the lengths but we'll need you to write out the visible glass height for the top and bottom sashes. You must weigh the window sashes on a scale as well to pick the proper tip color for the replacements.
