Spiral valance

A quick learner from Pennsylvania says:
Was wondering if maybe mine were already replaced with wrong ones and I followed suite after going off what was there. I ordered the 3/8" spiral valance with red caps and seems like after loading them they wont hold the window up all the way. After looking at the other windows next to this one (which are smaller) they look to have the red caps also and look to be the 5/8" valance. The window sash is about 3' wide. Should I be not only going with the 5/8" but with a different color cap for that big of a window? Thanks!

Hello,

If you believe that your window requires 5/8" spiral balances, take a look at the S600. If the original balance have 29" long housing tubes, see the S600-29. As for the tip color, red will support a sash between 7-29 lbs. I'd recommend confirming the exact weight of your window sash to ensure that it falls within the supported range. Thank you.
