Stanley Mirrored bifold door tracks

A quick learner from Albany NY says:

Your site has been very helpful to us. We have an old metal framed Stanley Mirrored bifold door (36"x80"). We just replaced our carpet with engineered flooring and the opening has been reduced to EXACTLY 80" tall. We've been struggling to get the old door in place but realized that our roll guide for the bottom track is broken. We're not sure if anything else is.

We came upon your site and saw the low profile track. We were wondering if we could install two low profile tracks rather than the larger track that previously was installed at the top (Pictures attached). It appears that the only difference in our old tracks is the spring at the end of the top track. The lower profile might give us the extra space for the door and make it easier to install. We'll either need to order two low profile tracks or just the guides. Or do you also have a different track replacement for the top? Thanks for any guidance; really appreciate it.

Thank you for reaching out to us. I believe the track you are looking at is our 21-452 which comes with the 21-174 roll guide, 21-175 pivot bracket, and 21-286 snugger that takes the place of your spring loaded that stops. I agree with you about making room for your door heights, the low-profile tracks will do that for you.
