Tensioner replacement part

A quick learner from Albuquerque, NM says:
This part broke the my screen door (Patiorama Sliding doors from @ 1972 perhaps?). Do you carry this part (I will need two of them) or can you suggest a replacement?

I'm afraid that I don't recognize this part. Could there be more to it, or is this all there is? Can you tell me what this does? Finally, would it be possible to see what it looks like while installed?

A quick learner from Albuquerque, NM says:
Attached please find a copy of the tension-er showing its placement in the screen door frame and track, and a copy of a (broken) tension-er as it sits in the corner of the screen door frame.

I remember the Patiorama sliding doors when I started in the business in the early 1960's. They were made by Daryl in Florida, who are unfortunately no longer around. We won't have a top spring loaded guide like yours, but we have two types of top door guides you might be able to replace it with. See our 86-001 and 86-010. You will mount either one on the outside of the door end with a screw.

Let me know what you think of this solution.

A quick learner from Albuquerque, NM says:
I think 86-001 might work as it appears to be closer to the dimensions needed. I will go ahead and submit an order: let's cross our fingers!
