Thanks for posting. At first glance, this pivot shoe piece resembles the Certainteed 15-192. However, I suspect you may have a Simonton window. Old Simonton windows used a shoe very similar to the Certainteed version; however we have found that the 15-192 does not fit Simonton windows correctly. In some cases, customers can get it to work by rubbing down the alignment nubs on the surface of the shoe--but in other instances this too doesn't work, and I can't say if it would for you. If you do have Simonton windows, we suggest you instead use the 15-259 Pivot Shoe. This will also however require you replace the coil balances that the shoe attaches to with our Series 159.
