Top Sash Cap for channel balances

A home owner from Homosassa, florida says:

Good Morning,

Inquiring about your top sash caps. Picture above with measurements.

I have bought your part#2840 and 2850 and now need more parts to fix my windows and hoping you can help. Also, I can not find bottom sashes? Do they exist or do you need them for the windows to go up and down smoothly? Any help would be greatly appreciated :) Tammy

Casey from SWISCO responded:

Hello,

The part shown in your photo resembles the 18-180 top sash guide. Take a look and compare the dimensions from our product page below to confirm they match up to yours.

You also mentioned that you are missing the bottom sashes. Are you referring to the balances for the bottom sash? If so, they are necessary and you will not be able to raise the window properly without them. If you have an identical window in the house that is working properly, you could check the balances in that window to determine what you need. Thank you!
