Top clip on channel balance

A home owner from N. Charleston, SC says:
Hi,

I recently ordered replacement channel balance, and the clips at the top look different. It looks like the existing balances are clipped into the holes at the top, but the new ones look like they need to be screwed in. I was hoping someone could provide some advice as to how I install the new balances to the existing windows. Am I missing a part at the top of the new balances?

Thanks!

Hello there! Thanks for reaching out to us. I'm afraid you can't use the S795 with the screw tab. We can supply the Series 795 attached with a 15-198 hook but it must be a custom order.

I see that you ordered (8) with the 34C option so what I'll do is email you a purchase link and price quote for (8) S795-34 balances with the 34C stamp and 15-198 hook attached. You can keep the 15-194 shoes that you purchased and swap them once you receive your order. Please note that there is a 5-6 week lead time as the 15-198 hook is presently out of stock.

Let me know if you have any questions!

Thanks, Emily. I've placed the order through the quote you sent over. FYI, I've initiated a return of the balances that I originally purchased (Order No. 2280775). I appreciate your help!
