Trim Replacement-for XT-Insulated 960 Sliding Patio Door

A quick learner from Silverdale, Washington says:
Hi, I'm looking for a replacement section of exterior trim for my patio door. I've asked around all the big box stores and couldn't get any help, it's been over 5 years and still nothing, I'm hoping you all can help. The piece is the outer left side, it was warped and needs replacing. I have some pictures for reference. Thank you

Thanks for posting. I'm afraid I can't identify this glazing trim at first glance. Its shape is similar to our 55-050, 55-161 and 55-213, so start by comparing the end profile dimensions to the diagrams below. If none of these seem right, please send a clearer picture of your old glazing's end profile or cross-section, and I'll try and find something better.

It's basically a I shape; the side that snaps in is taller than the side that sits against the glass.

*It's basically U shaped, about 7/8" wide, the side that snaps in is about 1/2" deep, and the side against the glass is about 1/4".

We can't confirm if we have a closer match without seeing a clear end profile photo of an undamaged piece, unfortunately. However, you're more than welcome to browse our selection here

Here's a better picture; it's such a simple design but I haven't been able to find anything close.

Thanks for these photos. Unfortunately, we don't sell anything that quite matches what you show here. The best options available would be our 55-209 and 55-210. They're similar in design to your original but they're primarily used for windows, not doors.

It may be possible that these are unique to the original manufacturer. You may need to go back to them directly to determine if it's still something they make. Assuming it is unique to the maker of the door, that would explain why you've had such a hard time finding it at hardware stores in your area.

I'm sorry that we weren't able to offer a better replacement for you.
