A home owner from Florida says:
I'm pretty sure I figured out what I need is the S351-36. I don't have the exact weight of the window as I have no scale here at our vacation home. It looks as though this is mainly a rust issue with the old balances, the bottom pulley and spring is very rusty as these are 23 years old and are in a very humid sea shore environment. I may eventually need 10 of these or more but for now I'm just going to change out 4.

Thanks for posting. I agree, the S351-36 is likely. The only other possibility is the S390-36. These two balances are nearly identical save for the depth of the bottom nylon shoe, or the 'heel-to-toe' measurement. See the diagram below for reference. Confirm the depth of your old balance's shoe to determine which balance Series you should go with. If the depth is 1", then go with the Series 351. For a stamp option, choose 3530.
