WINDOW SASH BALANCER

A home owner from says:
THIS IS A WINDOW BALANCER FOR A SINGLE HUNG WINDOW.
THERE IS NOTHING PRINTED ON THE BALANCER. THE SAH SIZE IS 33 1/2 X 28 WITH 1/8-1/8 GLASS.
THE ISSUE IS THAT THE CURRENT SASH WOULD SLIDE DOWN IN A FEW MINUTES.NEED SOMETHING MORE STIFF THAN THE CURRENT BALANCER

Hello there. This looks like a 15-102 Double Carrier, which works with Series 145 Coil Balances. Let me know if you have further questions.

A home owner from Seattle says:
What size should be preferred as per the window sash size.

The window sash size unfortunately doesn't allow us to determine that. Instead, you will need to weigh your sash on a scale and then divide it by how many springs support it, in total. In your case, that's four: two on each side.

So, for example, if your sash were to weigh 20 pounds, you'd want two 5 pound springs on each side.
