Weatherstrip, steel entry door, magnetic, kerf mounted

A handy person from Chicago, IL says:
Hi, the attached is a weatherstrip I pulled from the front door of a single family residential property, Chicago suburbs. Slot mounted but the slot is perpendicular to the jamb (same plane as the wall), as opposed to parallel to the jamb. Cannot for the life of me find this profile anywhere. If I didn't have several pieces of it physically in my possession, I would think it's not actually real.

Any insight is GREATLY appreciated.

Dave Sr. from SWISCO responded:

Hello!

We do carry magnetic weather stripping the 58-008, but the magnetic seal comes straight out, whereas your magnet is off to the side. With that said, take a look at the 58-173, 58-201, and 58-056E. See if one of these could fit your door and frame. We offer samples for these parts, except 58-008, so let me know if you're interested in that.
