A quick learner from Jay Vt says:
Looking for assistance to replace a window balance. Attached is a picture of the stamp on the balance as well the top of the balance. I am thinking I need to remove the top/ rubber casing to remove/ install the new balance? Thanks Bill

I'm afraid that I don't recognize this balance. In order to identify it, we need to see the bottom end, specifically she shoe, clip, hook, or whatever else is at the bottom of the cord. If you can remove your sash and show that to me, I should be able to get a good idea of what kind of balance this is, and how to remove it.

Thanks for getting back to me, see the attached photos.

Thank you for additional photos. To remove the ribbed balances, you need to remove both sashes and gently pull the vinyl jamb liner from the window frame. Then you can slide the balance shoe and ribbed balance. To give you a price quote, we need the length of the metal channel and the number of balances you were looking to order. Thanks!
