Window Balance G.Witherspoon

A quick learner from Greer, SC says:
Looking to locate balance to order a few replacements. Considering how difficult it has been to locate these I'll probably order spares in some additional sizes.

The plastic pulley connection to the spring has failed on 2 balances. Mine use a screw mounting vs a hook. See photos

Hello! Your balance looks like a dead ringer for our Series 795. The only major differences are that your balance has an outdated stamp and an open-cam shoe; the Series 795 comes with a closed cam shoe by default.

Starting with the shoe, this is easily fixed by purchasing our 15-195B separately. These just pop on and off so it's very simple to swap out.

As for the stamp, there is a very good chance that yours indicates a 33" long metal channel and support for a sash weight range of 30 through 34 pounds. That would be our S795-33 with a 33E stamp. However, I highly recommend measuring your metal channel and weighing your sash on a scale to verify this. Don't take my word for it; it is only an educated guess, even if I make it with confidence.
