Window balance

A contractor from Joshua Texas says:
I need a S795-27. But the one I'm replacing has a hook at the end of the string that hooks at top of frame rather than a screw tab. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Number stamp is 27C

Hello! You may still be able to use our Series 795 in your window, even though ours has a screw tab. Depending on the shape of the hole where your original hook goes, you could install our 26-200 screw plug. That would effectively convert your window for use with the screw-on type instead.

But it would depend on the hole shape. It has to be square. The video below will go into more detail. If your hole is a different shape, let me know and we can work from there.
