Window balance

A quick learner from Saint Paul, MN says:

The window has absolutely no tags on it, anywhere!! On the balance was BSI and underneath it 2330. That was the only marking on the window besides the word "Cardinal" etched in the corner of the glass.

If you think you have this sash I need four of them

Bob from SWISCO responded:

Hey Rodney. No worries; with a few exceptions, the best way to identify channel balances like yours is from pictures. This looks like either an S380-24 or S385-24. The only difference between these two kinds of balances is the depth of the bottom nylon shoe, or its measurement from 'heel' to 'toe'. The picture below explains it. Compare both balances with your old one to see what matches best. In either case, for a stamp option (this determines the balance's strength), choose 2330, just like your old balance. Let me know if you have further questions.
