Thanks for reaching out! Your pivot shoe reminds me of our 15-177 Coil Balance Shoe. To determine if this is the right replacement, take a look over the dimensions and compare them to your shoe.

This shoe is compatible with the 1/2" thick Series 152 Coil Balance, secured to the shoe using the 33-072 Philips Screw. To determine the correct spring strength for a particular sash, you'll need to look for any stamps/markings on the metal coils in the window.

If there are no stamps/markings or they are hard to read, you'll need to obtain the exact weight of your sash. Once you have the sash weight, you'll divide it by the number of coils in the window; in your case, 4 coils.

To replace the balance cover, you'll need to purchase the 15-143 Coil Bushing, the 15-144 Coil Bushing Cap, and the 15-145 Coil Support Barrel. The barrel would be placed inside the coil; the bushing and bushing cap snap together around them.

A handy person from Coldwater, Michigan 49036 says:
I checked the coil springs for markings, one has a "C" on it and the other has "DL6" on it.
I had already placed an order with you for the correct block, but I may have ordered the wrong spring.
The spring I ordered from you was S 152-5, which may not be correct.
Please let me know right away and see if you can find my order number and send me the correct spring if I had ordered the wrong one on # 2282880.
Thank you.

As mentioned above, you'll need to obtain the exact weight of your sash and divide it by the number of coils in the window. Since one of the oils is stamped with a 6, you'll likely need the S152-6; confirming the sash weight will help you identify the other.

Unfortunately, I cannot confirm the other based on the provided stamp.

I hope this helps!
