Window replacement parts

A quick learner says:
The window was not staying in the open position and during the inspection/investigation I discovered there were pieces that were broken. The window balance is a 28F. It is 28 inches long x 9/16, x 5/8 inches. The last picture is of the pivot lock shoe in the channel, which the pivot lock bars were broken as well.

Hello!

We can help with this. It will just have to be a custom order due to the attachment that anchors to the pivot shoe. To replicate your old balance, we'll use the S770-28 and swap the default terminal clip for the 15-044 attachment. 28F will be the stamp strength; a pair of balances with this stamp can carry a sash weighing 32 to 36 pounds. Does this sound good to you? If so, let me know the number of balances you need and we can go from there.

As for the pivot bar and pivot shoe, see the 26-310 and 15-216. Compare our specifications with yours to see if they match up.

A quick learner from Pensacola says:
The proposal sounds great and we will will need parts to two windows. So that will be four balances and four pivot shoes, four pivot bars, and four balance attachments.

Thank you for confirming that for me! I'll go and email you a purchase link for (4) balances made to the specifications we discussed previously. The replacement balances will already have the 15-044 attached but the pivot bars and pivot shoes can't be included in the link so don't forget to add them to your cart separately!

I'll be here if you have any questions!
