Thanks for writing in. It looks like you need new spiral balances. We can help, but I'm afraid this isn't enough information to go off of. You'll need to remove your spiral balances from the window and tell us the diameter and length of the outer tube, up to and not included the colored bearing from which the inner spiral rod protrudes. We will also need a picture of that color bearing as well. Furthermore, if you need new pivot shoes (the plastic block that the spiral rod attaches to in your photos), you'll need to remove one and give us its width and thickness. That should help narrow down everything you need. See the videos I've listed on this page for guidance.

Thank you for your help. They are spiral balances.

Need the following:

Eight (8) Spiral balances (25"L; 5/8" diam; Blue

Eight (8) Pivot shoes

One (1) Spiral balance charging tool

Four (4) sash stops

Are balance covers necessary for operation? Looks like they crack pretty easily when removing. To replace I would need about 16 ft length.

Any more information?

Please quote price and availability.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR RPROMPT RESPONSE

Thanks for getting back to us. If you have a 5/8" diameter spiral balance, then my top recommendation would be the S600-25. This has a metal tube that measures the same diameter at 5/8", though it's technically closer to 9/16". I feel confident that this is what you want.

As for the shoe, I don't think your design is made anymore but our 15-046 may very well be a good modern replacement. Just check to make sure it's the same size at 1-1/4" wide x 1/2" thick. I will share a diagram below for you to review. If your width or thickness differs in any way, let me know how and we can work from there.

The charging tool is our 75-006. We unfortunately don't sell either sash stops or balance covers. In the case of balance covers, they aren't needed for the window to operate. They're strictly aesthetic.
