I also have an Alliance bifold door hardware. Did the previous writer have any success with this part?
My bottom bracket is Alliance 510, and I need to replace a pair of them. I have attached pictures of a part from my good closet with a ruler to help with dimensions.
Like your 23-301, my base is 1/4 inch thick, and the length along the floor is 2 7/8 inches. My door has a 1/4 inch diameter bottom pin. The bracket height is 1 3/4 inch from the bottom of the base to the top of the side plate with the two mounting holes. The base is 7/8 inch wide, but this dimension is not in your illustrations.
Is your part likely to work?

Thank you for your patience while we looked into this. Almost all of our dimensions appear to match except for height. Now, we don't have a bracket that's quite as tall as yours, but that dimension doesn't matter so much. What's most important is the diameter of the hole that accepts the pin. Can you give me that measurement? Once I have that, we will do our best to find something that will work for you. |

Thank you. In that case, you may want to consider our 23-316. This is taller than the 23-301 and has a 1/4" diameter hole. This is meant to be used with pins like our 23-115 and 23-116, so if your current pins match one of these then I think it would be a great match. It's wider by about 1/8" but I think that'll be okay. Yours might just be smushed in a bit after years of use. |
