The interior markings are:

2 R.H. RD. 1963 CAN

11500-11 Pat. Pending

Crank specs
5 1/4" - length between top/bottom hole-to-hole
1 1/8" - width between bottom two holes
2 1/2" or possibly 2 3/8" link arm length

Quick follow up: I can't find a link arm that is exactly what I need (2.5 inches). Is it better to get one that's a little too long, or a little too short? (Or is it better to just to try and see?)

Honestly, these operators have a good amount of play in the arms, so a slight difference in the arm length shouldn't make or break the repair. 

The key dimensions that should be exact are the installation hole spacing, as well as the 10-24 thread bushing at the base of the 39-025 link arm.

Just one more question - do I need a should bolt washer? I bought one (33-206), and see that it is a little big for the hole in the awning mechanism, and I'm not sure if I need to force it in, or find another size etc. The windows seems to work fine without it.

The 33-206 is the correct nylon washer that goes with the 39-025. It could be that the hole in the window linkage is a little too small. If so, you could try using a rat tail file to open up the hole a bit.
