need help identifying this balance

A quick learner says:
I need to replace about six channel balances. The part # stamped on it is 26X. It appears similar to your S751-27 with the option 26tg, since the sashes weigh 29 pounds. These are from Marvin windows from 2005.
The length is 27" measured from each end of the metal. The width at each end is 9/16" but flares slightly at the center, about 1/32" wider than the ends (see photos). The depth of the channel is 5/8"

Thanks for writing in! There is a chance that we can provide you with a replacement balance, however, to be absolutely sure, I'll need to see a photo of an undamaged balance removed from the window.

Although the balance may appear to look like the S751-27, it may not have the same attachments that this balance does. There are times the balance attachment looks slightly similar to the standard balance but it actually may be a custom attachment. So to ensure that we are providing you with the most accurate replacements, it would be best to see a photo the shoe in the last photo removed from the window.

Let me know if you have any questions.

It appears that are correct. The Series 751-27 is the replacement balance you'll need for your window. Your balance shoe appears to have a blue version of the 15-014 knife lock shoe. The 26TG stamp is made for a window weighting 24 to 31lbs so that will be the stamp you need to select.

You may also need either the 19-029 Short S-Clip or the 19-030 Long S-Clip. Double check the window channel or the existing balances to confirm if you'll need either of them.

Please let me know if there is anything else I can assist with.
