pivot bar

A home owner from Harrisburg Pa says:
I have tilt in windows, and a pivot bar? broke and I need a replacement part.
However I don't know the manufacturer of the window, so it is hard to identify the part.
Also need instruction on how to dismantle, install and reassemble the part.
Thanks

Thanks for posting. Based on this fragment I believe you might have the Simonton 26-336 Pivot Bars, but please compare to an undamaged version to be safe. See the videos below that detail how to remove and replace pivot bars.
