Hi,
I need weather stripping for the images attached above. I do not have the product that was there before as the painter said it was incorrect and threw it away. These are wooden doors, one a front entry door and the other one is a garage into laundry room door. They look similar to me and I am hoping you can have a suggestion to what is the correct weather stripping I need for both of them. If you need any additional information, please let me know. Thank you. Nancy

Hello, Nancy. It is unfortunately not possible to ID the proper weatherseal for your door without using the original as a reference. All I can see from your photos is that this is a wood door with a narrow slot. However, the very fact that this is a wood door opens up your options a little. One possible fix is our 58-169. This is a foam seal commonly used on entry doors that installs using a nail-on flange. This would allow you to adjust it to the exact position it needs to be for the best possible seal before nailing it in place directly to the door. We also sell the 58-180, which is a similar design but with an adhesive backing. Installation for this is as simple as peel-and-stick. I can't guarantee that either will work, but at this stage they are the only recommendations that I can make. Look them over and see what you think. Profile diagram of 58-169

The only part of the 58-180 that's sticky is the back end, which would fully adhere to the surface of the door. I've never heard of an instance where the entire seal gets sticky. |
