weather stripping for doors with a wide kerf

A quick learner from Honey Creek, IA says:
We moved into a house that was built in 1993. We have 5 exterior doors. The weather stripping has become smashed and longer seal very well. The problem I have run into is that the kerf is deep and wide. The original weather stripping has a cord built into it to press into the groove. The weather stripping I have found in local stores all have fin-like strips that press into the groove but our grooves (kerf) is too large to secure it. Do you have weather stripping similar to this?

Thanks for posting. I'm afraid we don't have this exact seal, but you may be able to use our 58-169. You would attach this to your door with nails along its flange. What do you think?

I have the same problem with my kerf larger than the weatherstrip available. Would like to know what the guy who originally posted this question did.
A quick learner says:
had the same problem i used some adhesive caulk to get the new size kerf weather strip to stay in place.
