I also will need the tool that spreads the vinyl apart as well

unless theres another way to replace.

Hey Gus. This looks like our 15-177 Pivot Shoe, which uses Series 152 Coil Balances. For jamb spreaders, see our 75-069; however, consider the 'cut-out' method of removing these systems from the window, as shown in the video for a similar balance system below. If your coil spring's old housing is undamaged you can reuse it; otherwise, see the 15-143, 15-144, and 15-145. These newer-style parts 'sandwich' around the coil. Let me know if you have any further questions.
