Sometimes you have to take door apart to remove the old roller and install the new roller. Also, sometimes corrosion holds the wheel in place. If corrosion is a problem, spray the wheel with WD40 and let it sit for a while. This may help to loosen it up.
A home owner from Arnprior, Ontario says:
show me how to take apart the door to get at the rollers.

You first remove the screen wire, then unscrew the screws that hold door together. Then you will be able to get to the rollers.
