need replacement window channel things

A home owner from Alexandria, Virginia says:
Hello,
Our single-pane windows won't stay up. We took the window out (it came right out after we raised it all the way) and the metal things on the sides just plopped out. One side still has it's block and tackle looking springy thing and the other the string just hangs there. I think one of the "pulleys" is broken.
Pictures attached. Research on the web, I think we have 61-series. The metal part (w/o the plastic) measures 37" by 5/8"

Hey, thanks for posting. I've narrowed this down to two possible channel balance Series: either our Series 380 or our Series 385 balances.

Now, as you can see, there is only one difference between these two Series, and that is their bottom shoe. The Series 380 uses the 15-005 while the Series 385 uses the 15-004. I can't quite tell what you have based on your pictures, though. Please carefully compare their dimensions to your own hardware and see which is a better match.

Thanks Tom! I realized today when I saw the pictures that I failed to upload one end of the channel. When I get home I'll upload a picture of the other end. If you have time, could you look at it?

Thanks again,
Cheers,
Mike

Tom from SWISCO responded:
Hey, Mike. I think all your pictures uploaded. That is, I see everything I need to. The only thing I'm unsure about is the shoe, which I will not be able to work out based on pictures alone. You will have to measure your shoe and see which of the two I mentioned above matches.

OK, thanks. We'll make an order soon.
