pile weatherstripping

A contractor from Detroit says:
we are restoring some historic wooden casement windows that have black pile weatherstripping on the top and bottom edges. it is 3/8" wide and 1/8" high. I think we could get away with a bit of variance on the height. the width needs to be 3/8".

the way it needs to be installed, it would be preferable to NOT have an adhesive back. it needs to drop down into a channel a little bit.

Tom from SWISCO responded:
Thank you for your patience. We don't have anything with an exact base width of 3/8", but take a look at our 58-161, which has a width of 11/32". This is only 1/32" off from what you have now. It's height is also 11/32", which is quite tall, but it is possible to give it a "shave" if absolutely necessary. That might be your best bet. What do you think?
