pivot bar for Certain-Teed window

A home owner from Watsonville, CA says:
I need a replacement for a Certain-Teed Sash Pivot Bar.

Item number 26-353 on your website is basically similar to the broken pivot bar I need to replace, except that the original also has a small 1/8" knob located about 7/16" from the screw hole on the flat surface of the pivot bar and extending upward from the surface (photo of broken pivot bar attached).

Is the knob essential to the function of the original pivot bar? Would item 26-353 work as a replacement?

Thanks very much.

Tom from SWISCO responded:
26-353 may work, but keep in mind that the pin itself is not offset like yours, so there's also a chance it may not. I think you should also consider our 26-175. This is actually what the manufacturer recommends as a replacement for your old discontinued pivot bar. I know it looks different, but CertainTeed insists that it should work in your existing pivot shoes.
A home owner from Watsonville CA says:
i may also need a new pivot shoe for that window. Which one would you recommend.

Thanks.

Tom from SWISCO responded:
Sure thing, Stan. It could be our 15-192. How well does that match up to your existing pivot shoe? Are the dimensions and style the same?
A home owner from Watsonville CA says:
Thanks. I've ordered the pivot bar that you recommended and also the 15-192 pivot shoe. I'm not in Watsonville right now, but from my recollection, the shoe you recommended is similar to the ones in the windows at that house.

I appreciate your help and advice.
