SWISCO - The Replacement Hardware Authority

replacing a storm- door handle.

A home owner from Grand Rapids, Mich says:
I would like to replace a weathered, pitted brass door handle. As you can see, (hope the photo is correct), the handle is a push-button type, and is 10 and 1/4" in length. I see that you do have a similar one that is a pull handle, but the dimensions look about the same. Ideally, I would like to find a replacement that is minimally challenging to replace. Easy off- easy on. Please advise. Thanks for your input/

I'm not sure if we have an exact match. The longest lock we have is the 40-141. However the lock is not solid brass, it only has a brass finish. Looking at your photo, I believe your handle could be made of brass. Did you try and use a brass polish on the handle? That might bring up the finish.
