sash lift for Vinyl Windows

I have vinyl windows that never had sash lifts. It has been a continuous problem. I am wondering if I need a certain type of sash to install on the windows, or if I can install sashes on the windows at all?

You may be able to install lifts on your windows, but I can't say for sure. Did your sashes ever have lifts in the past? Could we see some pictures of your bottom sash? Do you also know the manufacturer of your window? Any stamps or markings you can see may provide a clue.
