sash weight

A home owner from Long Beach, Ca says:
The sash weight on my windows is 19lbs. Would you suggest I go with the 1940(14-17lbs) or the 1960(22-26) option? Thanks for advising?

I am ordering series 385, 20 inch channel balance.

Tom from SWISCO responded:
If your sash weighs 19 pounds, I would recommend the 1950. This can carry 18 through 21 pounds. The 1940 would be too weak, and the 1960 would be too strong. Neither would be ideal for your window.
