screen door closer

Hi I recently purchased an all vinyl victorian style screen door. No glass insert. I want to know if I can install a standard door closer on this instead of the fast closing spring tension closer that is normally used. I prefer slow closing with kids. Thank you

We have a wood screen door manufacturer near us in South Jersey who uses the 40-077 closer on his own screen doors. We also have heavy duty door closers, but you say this is only a screen door, so the 40-077 should be okay.
