shower door sweep

Recently I purchased the 30" shower door bottom sweep with a black bottom sweep. The black piece is slightly taller (say 1/8") than the previous sweep. Do you have a sweep (30") that is about 1/8"less tall than the standard sweep and will fit in the existing grove? If not, is it advisable to shear-off the bottom 1/8" of the black sweep? Will it fry much sooner? Kindly advise. G. Singh

I would suggest raising the complete shower door sweep and rail, as well as drilling new holes, instead of cutting the sweep.
