spacer for clear plastic sterling

A quick learner from Keystone shower door replacement part. says:
My door originally had the clear plastic sterling, which is no longer made. It didn't have a spacer. The keystone would fit. do I need the spacer with it &, if so, where would I find it?

I'm not sure if you would need the spacer, but if you did you could always get some stainless steel washers at a local hardware store in your area. You may be able to install your guide without it, though.
