tasman lock mk3

A home owner from tampa fl says:
would this replace the tasman mk3 mortise system lock ? I think the holes are different ... Or is there a way to cover plate for the holes in the door and I could replace it with a different type of lock set.As I have learned recently they stop making tasman lock mk3. but my door is already drilled out for that type of lock.. any suggestions? I personally like 40-058 ...however with the holes already in the door I am not sure this would work. I need something to cover the holes in the door. thanks

Thank you for posting. Looking at your photo, the cut out on the door looks like it would take a mortise lock set like our 40-049. Take a look and match up the dimensions to the holes in your door to see if it could work.
