tilt windows letting in moisture

A quick learner from Milford Delaware says:
single pane tilt windows were installed on a house that faces the bay.During our last storm with strong winds there was water coming in between the sashes. With the window locks on the ends of the window is it possible to install one in the center?

Thanks for posting. If water is coming in between your sash, I think it's likely that your weatherseal is worn out. Installing a lock in the middle could possibly help, but if your weatherseal is deteriorated then it wouldn't do much. I recommend looking along the sides of the sash and checking the condition of your seal. You can see our entire selection here.
