unique channel balances

A contractor from Connecticut says:
The actual measure of the channel is 35 " 9/16" wide by 1/2"deep actual measurements. The stamp says Unique 34-C-30. I need at least 14 of these. I need 14 of these.

The others are stamped 26-D-40. I need 10. The end clip is different than you off on this model please advise.

I believe we can help. The company that made your balance is out of business, but we can make it using a combination of different parts. Specifically, I'm thinking our S770-35 and S770-27 balances but with the default clips swapped out for our 15-014 shoe. Would this work for you?

We can custom make these balances for you, but I will need to know the weight of the sash for each balance type. That will help us determine the proper spring strength.
A contractor says:
Not surprising that they are out of business. These windows are 9 years old and more than half of the balances are broken.

That works for me. That 1/2" depth of the track is actual and it is a critical measurement. Do you need the measurements of that end clip or is it standard in the industry? I can weigh the sashes if needed but I thought that the "26" and the "34" were weights.

Tom from SWISCO responded:
Yes, our metal channel will also be 1/2". We don't need measurements of the clip. We will need your sash weight, though. The stamps you have now indicate the strength of the spring, but the numbers themselves are not an exact representation of the sash weight. The reason I'd like the sash weight is because the Series 770 uses a different rating system than your old balances.
A contractor from Connecticut says:
I will get the weights.
