window locks to let window open half an inch

Do you sell anything to enable a picture window to be locked with the window open half an inch? I think we have double glazed metal windows.

Is this device only designed for a single sash window? It looks like it wouldn't lock the upper sash.

Also, does the device work for wood windows?

Thanks for posting! Unfortunately, no. The 26-387 cannot keep the top sash from being pulled down. It can, however, work for wood windows. You may also be interested in our more old fashioned 20-013 Wood Window Vent Lock Set.
