I have a 15-05 pivot (blue insert)but my spiral balance is 3/8 x 21" (no color tip) is this correct? The MW windows were built in 1999

I'm sorry, I'm not sure I understand your question. You mentioned a 15-05 pivot, but I do not know what that is in reference to. Were you looking at a pivot shoe on our site? If so, 15-05 is not one of our part numbers. Can you clarify?

If your spiral balance tube has a diameter of 3/8" and a length of 21", and if it is for a tilt window, then the S900-21 would be a good match, yes. In order to determine the proper color tip option, you will need to weigh your sash on a scale.
