Does this unit use a set screw? I need a snap-on type that is set-screw-less,in white.

Yes, the 39-205, Folding Crank Handle, uses a set screw. See SWISCO product code 39-114L, the color white is a snap on handle and 39-102, both colors are the snap on handle versions.
