Product Description
This series 750 ribbed channel balance also known as a block and tackle balance has a 27" long metal ribbed channel and is for a tilt window. This balance comes fully assembled with a 15-112 shoe. The channel width measures 9/16" but is considered 1/2" in the trade. This balance is designed to fit into a vinyl jambliner.

*This information is based on 2 balances per sash. Balances are designed assuming friction in the jamb weather-strip will carry a portion of the sash weight. Suggested sash weights are approximate.

Good Idea!
Balances are sold individually, however, it is a good idea to replace both window balances at the same time. Pairing a new balance with an old one would cause the new balance to wear out faster.

The stamp option is a code that indicates how much weight a pair of balances can support. You can use the stamp on your original channel balance as a reference in most cases, or you can weigh your sash and refer to the chart above.
